CourseMaven, Inc., d/b/a CourseMosaic.com, and its corporate affiliates (“DualEnroll.com”, “us” or “we”) have adopted this Privacy Policy (or “Policy”), which applies to all users of our website www.coursemaven.com, and any of its sub-domains (the “Site”), and the account, services, websites, mobile applications, products and networks found at or related to the Site (the “Service”). This Policy is incorporated into and subject to our “Terms of Use”, available at Terms of Use Unless otherwise defined in this Policy, terms used in this Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms of Use. We may modify this Policy, at any time and for any reason, by posting the revised Policy on our Site with the updated effective date. This Policy describes our policies and procedures on the collection, use and disclosure of your personal information and data on our Site and through our Service. By using the Site or Service you agree to this Privacy Policy and, if you do not agree with all of the terms of this Policy, you may not use the Site or Service.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT and HOW WE COLLECT IT

We use your personally identifiable information to facilitate your registration for dual enrollment courses. We do not share your personally identifiable information with anyone not permitted to receive this information under FERPA.

HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We may use personally identifiable information you provide us to: (1) provide our Services to you; (2) verify your right to access our Site or certain of our restricted Services; (3) respond to your questions and inquiries; (4) provide you with targeted offers, Site content and advertising on the Site; (5) provide you with our newsletters, marketing or promotional materials and other information that may be of interest to you, as well as from third parties, to the extent you have agreed to receive such third party communications; (6) verify credit card authorization before any purchases or to bill you for paid Services; (7) share information with our authorized service providers in order to provide you with the Services; (8) improve our products, offerings, and services; and (9) to protect the security or integrity of the Site and our Service.

DualEnroll.com may send occasional system messages to you including emails covering network or legal functions like resetting passwords, account creation and deletion confirmations, changes to our legal policies, or major functional updates or changes. Please note that if you do not want to review legal notices from us, such as notices regarding this Privacy Policy, you may change your account preferences by contacting us at legal@coursemaven.com. However, those legal notices will still govern your use of the Site and Services, and you are responsible for reviewing such legal notices for changes. We may receive a confirmation when you open an email from DualEnroll.com if your computer supports this type of program. DualEnroll.com uses this confirmation to help us monitor receipt and improve our Service.

DualEnroll.com may also send you a DualEnroll.com newsletter, marketing or promotional materials by email and other information that may be of interest to you, only if you’ve requested to receive such communications. If you decide that you no longer wish to receiver any such communications from us, you may unsubscribe by using the “unsubscribe” feature included at the bottom of each email marketing communication.

SOCIAL MEDIA

Our Site may include social media features, such as the Facebook Like button and widgets, such as a Share button. These features may collect your IP address, which page you are visiting on our Site, and may place cookies to enable the feature to function properly. These social media features are either hosted by a third party or hosted directly on our Site. Your interactions with these features are governed by the privacy policy of the company providing it.

THIRD PARTY SITES AND AUTHORIZED SERVICE PROVIDERS

We engage certain third parties to perform functions and provide services to us. We are not responsible, and assumes no liabilities, for the privacy policies and/or practices on such other websites. When linking to another site you should read the privacy policy governing that website. Our Privacy Policy only governs information collected on our Site.

OUR POLICY TOWARDS CHILDREN

DualEnroll.com is concerned about the privacy and safety of children when they use the internet. We will not knowingly request personally identifiable information online from anyone under the age of 13 without prior verifiable parental consent. Our Site and Services are for general audiences and are not targeted to or intended for use by children. Unfortunately, we cannot always determine the age of a visitor to our Site or user of our Services.

CORPORATE TRANSFER

DualEnroll.com may sell, divest, transfer, assign, share or otherwise engage in a transaction that involves, some or all of our assets, including any or all of the information described in this Policy, in the course of a corporate divestiture, merger, acquisition, joint venture, bankruptcy, dissolution, reorganization, or any other similar transaction or proceeding.
